NESP Invest in a New Biesse Edgebander

Following a management buy out in January 2018, new owners Richard and Lisa Williams are continuing to make positive changes and investing in the business to help it move forward and make an impact in the kitchen, bedroom and bathroom industry.

Some of the changes that have been implemented include amends to working hours and practices, renovating the NESP offices, and investing in new machinery.

Last month we took delivery of our new Biesse Stream A Edgebander, a single-sided edgebanding machine that will help us increase our production capacity here in County Durham where we manufacture all of our cut and edge panels, made to measure doors, and bedroom cabinets. 

Seamless Joints, No Glue Line

With no visible joints and no glue line, the Biesse edgebanding machine uses a compressed hot air system that means the edge bonds perfectly with the panel guaranteeing resistance to water and heat – and an excellent long-lasting quality finish.

Invisible joints are now expected as industry standard and the quality expectations of our customers, and yours, is more demanding. Investing in this new edgebander is just one way we are improving our production quality and making sure any joints appear invisible and look completely flawless.

Next Level Cut & Edge Products

Our edgebander gives us the capability to edge any panel product using most edgebandings from 0.3mm up to 3mm thick. Creating a seamless finish, meaning an edged panel can be transformed into an almost solid door.

We have an extensive range of panel products in stock but can also source, cut, and edge a wide range of panels from Egger and Kronospan. We can also match specific panel products to an edging tape to ensure you get a seamless end product.
